Δημήτριος Δεριζιώτης


Dimitris Deriziotis was born in 1961 in Piraeus and grew up in Keratsini. He studied at the National Technical University of Athens, in the school of Mechanical Engineering where he completed his studies in 1984. Apart from his professional activity as a Mechanical Engineer, he has attended several seminars andlessons in Philosophy, Poetry and Versification. More specifically: Philosophy Seminars at the "Free University" of Stoa tou Vivliou and at the "Interactive Platform Mathesis" by the University of Crete. Thematic units: Greek Art & Aesthetic, Aristotle and Nicomachean Ethics, Plato and the surrounding space of his texts, Phenomenology, etc., Versification Seminars, Versification & Setting to Music and European Poetry at the Art Seminars at the Multi-space "Mikro Polytexneio". Also, Theatrical Singing seminars for the plays "The Birds" by Aristophanes & "The Caucasian Chalk Circle" by Bertolt Brecht directed by Dimitris Kanellos, "Dialogues of the Courtesans" by Lucian, directed by Korais Damatis, Versification, Essay and Philosophy Writing & Poetry seminars at the Creative Writing Workshop "Tabula Rasa".
